Chapter 4: Maturity, Modernisation and Issues of Governance: 1987 and Beyond new governor set about almost immediately to modernise the Bank’s communications strategy and techniques. Publications and outreach relied more heavily on modern technology and the Bank’s statistical database was placed online. The Bank made its first foray into social media, establishing a presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Governor Worrell also identified the development of human resources as key to the attainment of the Bank’s goals.
