SIGHTSEEING  57 INS Annandale Falls Just 15 minutes drive from St George’s, this 30 foot waterfall plunges into a large pool where you can take a swim and watch the antics of brave cliff divers. Set in lush tropical gardens, the falls are only a two minute walk from the visitors’ centre, making it the most accessible of Grenada’s waterfalls. Smithy’s Gardens Just a mile from historic Fort Frederick, this private garden is filled with beautiful fruit and spice trees, and tropical flowers. Owner and avid flower arranger Anne will delight in sharing her garden with you. Orchids from Smithy’s Garden add to the variety displayed at the annual RHS Chelsea display, where the Grenada Display has achieved a total of 15 gold medals which are highly coveted by exhibitors. Mt Qua Qua A beautiful hike through the Grand Etang rainforest leads to this stunning peak with 360-degree views around Grenada and the coastline. It’s a strenuous two and a half hour hike (there and back) along a rocky mountain ridge. The trailhead is located just a few minutes from the Grand Etang Visitors Centre. The Tower Estate A lovely great house with mahogany floors and period furniture surrounded by lush gardens. Admission includes a tour of the historic house, gardens and organic farm, followed by afternoon tea. Sunny Side Garden Five acres of lush gardens with several types of palm, flowering plants, a pond with koi carp and a 100 year old family home. After touring the gardens, enjoy a refreshing rum punch on the owner’s veranda. Patron enjoying a beer in a rum shop in St George De La Grenade Industries Once a small cottage industry and now a large-scale enterprise, making a range of award-winning jams, jellies, syrups and other products using Grenada’s spices and fruits.
