He specializes in marine paintings, depicting life above and below the surface, all beautifully captured in intricate detail and vivid colour. Doc’s paintings are in high demand, with many adorning walls around the world. He has also established a fine reputation for his commission work, including producing entire collections based on specific themes. Doc is one of life’s real characters, usually shoeless, shirtless and full of chat, you are sure to enjoy a visit to his new gallery in Bequia, located on Front Street in the charming harbour town of Port Elizabeth, or by appointment at his studio and Nautical Art Museum in Paget Farm.
