Ins & Outs of SVG 2020

Lyingninemiles to thesouthof St. Vincent, Bequia is the largest of the Grenadine islands – a compact seven square miles with about 5,000 warm and friendly inhabitants eager to welcome visitors. Bequia’s history has been deeply entwined with the sea for generations and the age-old traditions of boat building, fishing and whaling are still evident. The island has enormous appeal, and although visitor traffic has increased in recent years, the island remains relatively untouched. Photo: Wilfred Dederer
