With the vibrant Barbadian landscape as her inspiration, she gets great joy from painting the experiences and observations around her. She uses only professional paints, applied with palette knife on archival canvas or paper. Her subject matter varies widely from historical images of old Barbados to figures throwing themselves into the sea or compositions of monkeys in lush vegetation. Heather-Dawn’s work can be found in all the top galleries on the island.
