104 Beaches 3. Batts Rock Bay Located on the southern end of the west coast. There is plenty of convenient parking with public facilities and some nice shady areas. The swimming conditions here are wonderful with good snorkeling at both ends of the beach. There are no chairs and umbrellas for rent. The ‘shabby chic’ La Cabane restaurant is the only source of food and drink here but there are picnic tables if you bring your refreshments. 4. Alleynes Bay Running from Glitter Bay for about a mile, Alleynes Bay has all day dining at the Lone Star and Juma’s. If you are not going to these establishments there are several side roads in which to park. A great beach for swimming, people watching and sometimes swimming with the turtles. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for rent and Juma’s provides them if you are dining there.
