Hamilton’s Pottery uses the indigenous red clay from Barbados’ Scotland District to make functional ceramic products including tableware, vases and candle shades. There is still one pottery left in Chalky Mount in St. Andrew, the ancient home of the local pottery industry. They sell a large selection of pottery as well as traditional pots and lovely plant pots. ART - It’s well worth planning a visit to Speightstown to check out the Gallery of Caribbean Art which has a large selection of work.
