The numerous online mediums for short-term rentals and software that can manage and fill down-times has led to consistent rental income for owners. Barbados offers a diverse range of properties for sale, including the ever- popular beachside apartments, individual houses, lifestyle themed resorts and country homes. Royal Westmoreland has applied to develop new areas, and the new owner of Apes Hill has developed a revised 18-hole golf course, a 12-hole practice range, and a spectacular club house due to open in late 2022. The Crane Resort is continuing to build a range of private residences onsite, as well as at the Beach Houses at Skeete’s Bay. On the magnificent Carlisle Bay, Hyatt Ziva Residences and the Pierhead Residences are both planned to start in 2022 and will reshape the capital city Bridgetown.
