During 2014, the Bank collaborated with the UWI, Cave Hill campus to promote the De La Rue Scholarship. De La Rue, the firm that prints the Barbados currency, established the award to assist students pursuing post-graduate studies at the UWI. It is worth $35,000 and is available every two years. The Hospitality Suite The Bank’s corporate image was enhanced in 1998 when it was decided to share a hospitality suite at Kensington Oval with the Insurance Corporation of Barbados. It was used to entertain Board members, staff and business contacts and associates mainly during sporting and music events. With the passage of time the Bank found it necessary to have its own suite.
